Leadership Updates & Opportunities: October 2017

Engagement Team Set for Time of Discernment

On October 8, the Mosaic Engagement Team will gather for its annual summit. This is an intentional space of discernment and planning for Mosaic’s coordinators. The group hopes to navigate the waters of evaluating our 2017 initiatives, while wrapping their minds around how God will help us connect deeper to each other, to our community, and to God in 2018.

Join us in prayer for the Engagement Team. Pray for openness, discernment, creativity, direction, and leadership.

Vision Team Receiving New Member Nominations

Over the next month, the Vision Team will be receiving nominations for candidates to serve on the 2017-2018 Visioning Team. Potential candidates should have knowledge of why we do what we do as Mosaic, to live out that why (actively living out the mission and vision of Mosaic), and the ability to mentor others. Members serve on a two-year term, gathering every 6-7 weeks for a time of discernment and dialogue on God’s calling for and through Mosaic.

Contact one of the following members of the Vision Team with your nominations: Alan Pope, Caitlyn Rogers, Danielle Abbott, Dawn Simpson, Jenna Parker, Paul Calton, Tracy Boyette, and Tucker Barnes.

Creative Fundraising Team Wanted

For the last several years, Mosaic has successful run yard sales and pancake supports to support our missional initiatives. While these initiatives have been adequate attempts to raise funds, we are hoping to conceive a creative way to connect with our community, raise sustainable funds, and enjoy what we do.

We would like to put together a creative fundraising team to help bring ideas and leadership to whatever this new fundraising endeavor might be. No, the group will not set a grueling meeting schedule. The hope is to meet two to three times over the next four months.

If you are interested in participating in the team, contact Andy.
