Mosaic is a church in Clayton, North Carolina. However, we believe that the church is designed to be a community of people. This community, modeled by the life and ministry of Jesus, creates a safe space for all people.

We are experiencing our brokenness made whole by the love of Jesus. You see, we believe in the generous and indescribable love of God. God loves us no matter who we are, where we are on life’s journey, and what our brokenness looks like.

We believe that Jesus showed the radical love of God by the way that he persistently broke bread with the so-called “sinners” of his day, touched the lives of the sick, and healed the lives of the broken. This is the beautiful work of God’s radical love.

Our prayer is that our love for others will be at least a hopeful glimmer of God’s.

So with compassionate hospitality, we extend a special welcome to those who feel like they are screw ups and those who don’t see their own flaws, the round or super skinny, the rich, the poor, the middle class, tattooed and pierced, the self-righteous or self-loathing, the homeless, soccer moms or the antithesis of soccer moms, NASCAR-loving people or those who don’t know what a stock car is.

If you have crying newborns, are broken hearted, or are in need of a safe place, you are welcome here. We offer a special welcome to those who could use a prayer right now, had religion shoved down your throat as a kid, or got lost in traffic and wound up here by mistake. We welcome tourists, seekers and doubters, bleeding hearts … and you!

With the generous love of God, we welcome you.

Are you a follower of Jesus looking for a community to connect with? We’d love for you to be a part of Mosaic. Are you not quite sure where you are in your spiritual journey? We’d love to walk with you as you discover God’s love for you.

We hope you will find that Mosaic is a community of belonging for those seeking Jesus and for those who have yet to find His love.
