Baptism Sunday, May 21

“The Church does not dispense the sacrament of baptism in order to acquire for herself an increase in membership but in order to consecrate a human being to God and to communicate to that person the divine gift of birth from God.” – Hans Urs von Balthasar

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward spiritual decision to follow Jesus. We have also shared renewal-baptism with those who have made a personal decision to do so.

Mosaic celebrates baptism Sunday twice a year with an outdoor baptism. The baptism will take place at Clayton Fitness, during worship, on May 21. Baptism candidates should come prepared with dark clothing, a change of clothes, and a towel.
